Once again we were privileged to have seven (7) players selected as either First or Second Team All State.  The most of any team in South Carolina.  Please join us in celebrating the honors that these boys have received as recognized by the lacrosse coaches of South Carolina.  A couple of other notes.  1.  JOTT is dead.  On the 3rd of May the company closed its doors and discontinued its service.  There are a few of you that will feel no remorse but the service has met our needs and we will miss it.  We are working on a replacement service that will not only wake you up on the first day of Christmas vacation but will send someone over to get you out of bed as well....  You laugh...nervously of course.  and 2. SENIORS we will miss you.  Really.  Many times we held our breath until one of you got control of the ball or the situation and then we relaxed.  We trusted you with the ball and it was well deserved.  Recently, my son received a congratulatory letter from a colleague and that letter had some good advice that we will share with you.

"You are now entering a period of your own life which will be characterized by large questions and infinite possibilities.  I envy you, but I also assure you that it will be a very long time before those questions give way to clarity and those possibilities one by one slip to reveal your path.  You will lose your way if you think every one of those questions is important or that every one of those possibilities is your last.  The better guide is to every day, hourly, distinguish yourself in whatever is before you. "
